On July 27 (Sun), the “Hashikui Beach Summer Festa!! 2025” will be held at Hashikui Beach in Wakayama Prefecture.

【Contents of the event】

  • Fisherman's Sandals, Gyosans Flying Contest
    Whoever throws gyosans the farthest wins.
    ※ Throws that land outside the designated line are invalid.

  • Rocket Cider Speed Drinking and Snack Eating Contest
    This contest is to see who can drink Kushimoto's famous Rocket Cider and eat snacks the fastest.

  • Treasure Hunt
    Search for plates buried in the sand. You can exchange the plates you find for prizes.

  • Gozabashiri means running on a straw mat.
    You will run on a floating straw mat.
    Those who complete the course will receive a prize.
    If you fall off during the race, however, you will be disqualified.

  • Ayu Fish Catching
    A popular event at the Kushimoto Festival, Ayu Fish Catching, is back at Beach Festa!
    There will be separate categories for elementary school students in the lower and upper grades.
    Depending on how many ayu fish remain, adults may also have the opportunity to participate.

  • Luxury Prize Lottery

  • Sea Turtle Touching
    Sea turtles born in Kushimoto Marine Park are coming to Hashikui Beach!
