The Nachikatsuura Town Fireworks Festival takes place this year as well, and its date is Tue. August 11, 2026.

It is a fireworks festival created by and for the townspeople, held mainly for the purpose of serving as a memorial service.

The venue Blue Beach Nachi has been specially selected as one of the "100 best beaches in Japan" by the Ministry of the Environment.

Fireworks will be launched with combined efforts by townspeople, businesses and others in a way that also serves as a memorial service. Please enjoy the beautiful fireworks viewable from anywhere on the spacious sandy beach and also the large number of stalls. The venue is only a one-minute walk from JR Nachi Station.
