「The 16th Nachikatsuura Fireworks Festival」 will be held on Monday, August 11th, 2025 (national holiday) at Blue Beach Nachi in Nachikatsuura Town, Wakayama Prefecture.

20:00~20:15【Section 1: Opening Drone Show】

A first in the Kinan area!!! Drones will finally be appearing at the fireworks display.

This year's Nachikatsuura Fireworks Festival will kick off with a competition between 300 drones and fireworks. Many of Nachikatsuura's famous sites and specialties will appear as we make a pilgrimage along the Kumano Kodo trail. Then, let's start the fireworks together with a Kairos Rocket-themed countdown!

20:15~20:30【Section 3: Mountain section】
This tourist attraction in Nachikatsuura Town was selected as one of the 「100 most wonderful places in the world.」
The spiritual (mystical) scenery of the Kumano Kodo, which has been highly praised by travelers from overseas, will be depicted through fireworks.

20:30~20:45【Section 3: Memorial service】

It is launched from Fudaraku Beach, which leads to the Pure Land of Kannon, to commemorate the deceased.
20:45~20:55【Section 4: Sea section】
Katsuura Fishing Port is Japan's No. 1 fishing port for fresh tuna catches.
The fireworks will be themed around the three keywords: Kuroshio Current, tuna, and hot springs.
20:55~21:00【Section 5: Grand Finale】
The Nachikatsuura Town Fireworks Festival will reach its grand finale with the participation of local residents. The fireworks will be perfectly synchronized with music using cutting-edge technology and computer-generated effects. Please enjoy the 「Musical Fireworks Show,」 which can be also enjoyed by children visiting the venue and young people who will lead the future.
