In anticipation of the launch of the 'Kairo Rocket No. 3' on 25 February 2026, traffic restrictions will be put in place in the surrounding area. Anyone planning to visit should check the details in advance.

1.Regarding the implementation of traffic restrictions

On the day of the launch, a no-parking zone will be established within approximately 5 km of Spaceport Kii. Additionally, depending on the time of day, traffic restrictions may be implemented on roads near the viewing area. These measures are for safety purposes, so please follow the instructions of the security personnel and police officers on site.

2.Park-and-ride will not be implemented

This launch will not include Park-and-Ride. The 'designated parking lot + shuttle bus' system used in the past will also not be available.

Please also note the following points.

  • There are no coin-operated car parks or other parking facilities near the viewing area.
  • As access to the viewing area is only possible via Route 42, significant traffic congestion is expected.

3.Regarding use of public transportation (JR temporary trains)

Special trains (supplementary services) have been scheduled on the JR Kinokuni Line to accommodate the rocket launch. This schedule is only limited on the day of the event. If the event is postponed, the schedule may change. For detailed timetables, please refer to the official JR West Japan website.

4.For those considering visiting the event

  • Street parking is not permitted within the traffic control zone.
  • Heavy traffic is expected on nearby roads.
  • We strongly recommend using public transport.
  • Please plan to arrive early in the morning.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping to ensure the launch event runs smoothly.

5.Regarding ticket sales

At present, tickets for the general admission viewing area are all sold out.
