USP Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo; Representative: Niitsu Kenichi) is offering a combined experience of being able to witness a rare special rocket viewing, along with a tour showcasing special locations, people, and experiences unique to the region through a travel agency.
(This tour is a part of the selected projects for the Japan Tourism Agency's Project to Promote Expansion and Quality Improvement of Inbound Consumption by Providing Special Experiences and Others.)

The three-day tour takes place in Wakayama Prefecture's Kushimoto Town, Nachikatsu-ura Town, and Kozakawa Town, and it combines the Space and Rocket Related Experiences with those related to World Heritage, National Parks, and Cultural Heritage. This is a 3-day special luxurious experience in the hallowed Kumano, including a launch observation from a cruise ship and 2 other courses, a special Goma prayer for a successful rocket launch into space at a World Heritage temple, a special food and video party at a monolith ("Ichimai Iwa"), designated a national natural monument and scenic spot, and dinner at a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant. We are aiming for a continuous sales system for 20 to 30 rocket launches per year as a high added value tour that combines the experience of being able to build and launch a rocket with the same mechanism as the real thing 【Experiencing Space】 and enjoying world-class approved local resources and night time 【Experiencing hallowed Kumano】, which can be enjoyed even if the launch does not take place.　This tour is scheduled to be available on our reservation site from mid-October.

1. Course Outline
We have prepared 3 courses for this tour. You will be able to watch the rocket launch from special viewing seats for every course.

• 【Water Course】：Chartered Cruise / Closest Point of Observation
  This will be a cruise experience on the 「Kairos 2」, a specially chartered vessel. Viewing from the sea allows visitors to experience the white smoke from the engines and the powerful roar of the rocket at the closest point of view, and to admire the entire rocket up close and personal.
  

• 【Fire Course】： World Heritage Site Kumano-Kodo / Closest Point of Observation
  Viewing from Shimizu Pass on the World Heritage Site of Kumano-Kodo. From the great and natural ancient road connecting Kushimoto Town and Nachikatsuura Town, you can truly experience 「Space x Hallowed Kumano」. Viewing the rocket from within nature is truly exceptional.

• 【Hot Spring Course】: Private Hot Spring "Koubou-yu" Private Open Air Bath Viewing from a private open-air bath at "Kobou-yu", a hot spring near Hashigakeiwa. You can enjoy the rocket launch while relaxing in the ocean-view semi-open-air bath. Enjoy spending a luxurious moment with the Pacific Ocean.

• 【Other】: Official Tour Site Closest Viewing Seats (Rooftop of the former Uragami Elementary School)
  Viewing from the roof of the former Uragami Elementary School, the official viewing site, with the closest seats to the rocket. Enjoy the full power of the rockets from more luxurious special seats along with food and beverage booths.
  
  <Alternative> If you are unable to view the tour from the 【Fire】, 【Water】, or 【Hot Springs】 courses due to weather or other reasons, we will transfer you to the Official Tour Site Special Closest Viewing Seat on the official tour site.

2. Highlights

• Wishing for Success with History, Fire and Sound 【Special opening and prayer meeting at the World Heritage Site Fudarakusanji Temple】 　
  The World Heritage Site "Kisanchi no Reijou and Sankei Michi" Fudarakusanji Temple. The temple, which once aimed of reaching the Land of Bliss, will hold a prayer meeting for the successful launch of a rocket into space. The chief priest will explain the connection between Kumano, a hallowed place, and Space. After a special viewing of the ”Sanmyaku Juuichi Mensen Jusengen Kannon” a Buddhist Statue which is not usually open to the public, a Goma prayer session will be held.
  Exclusively for this tour, the gates will be specially opened at night to provide a rare opportunity to connect history and the future.
  

• Exclusive Access to the Natural Monument ”Ichimai-iwa" 【Special Dinner and Launch Video Party at the Scenic Ichimai-iwa】
  At the night of the launch viewing, a special food and video party will be held at the National Natural Monument and scenic spot "Ichimai-iwa".
  Exclusive access to a huge rock 100 meters high and 400 meters across, created by one of the largest eruptions on earth.
  Chefs from popular local restaurants will be invited to serve a dynamic dinner, and the Ichimai-iwa monolith will be used as a screen to show a video of the rocket launch.
  A special evening to reflect on an inspiring day in the overwhelming wilderness including giant rocks, bonfires, and starry skies will be offered exclusively on this tour.
  
  
• You Can Take to the Skies Too! The Very Impactful 【Rocket Building and Launch Experience】
  The day after the rocket viewing, you too can experience launching a rocket. All participants will build and launch their very own rockets.
  Learn about the mechanics of flight and more from a certified rocket guide while having fun.
  After that, solid fuel will be loaded into the popular American-made "Alpha 3" model rocket, and a rocket with the same mechanism as the real rocket will be built, and participants can launch it with their own hands. The rocket, with great force, will launch about 100 meters into the sky.
