Founded in Tokyo in 1950, the company mainly manufactures Sekku dolls using the Edo-style artwork technique. The second generation, Toko Kakinuma, has moved his workshop to Koshigaya city, Saitama Prefecture, where craftsmen are making dolls. "Maneki Neko", which was manufactured around 1995, is a product that makes use of the manufacturing technology of festival dolls, and is very popular both in Japan and overseas. For "Maneki Neko", Nishijin-ori and Italian fabrics are used, and for "Kimekomi Tray", Aizu lacquer processing is applied. By collaborating, we are trying to create a style that has never been seen in traditional doll making.
