Bizen ware is made from clay burned in a hole kiln and has a bright "orange" color. The amount of smoke generated when burning in a wood-fired kiln can be reduced compared to burning in a standard climbing kiln and the color of bright orange is stronger than that of standard Bizen ware. We make use of the characteristics of clay, which shrinks well, to create thin and light products that can be used on a daily basis, and since the breathability of clay is good with water, we make many kitchenware products. Bizen clay, whose color is determined by the amount of smoke or ash, can take on a variety of colors and textures depending on how the kiln is burned. You can enjoy the different colors of each one.
