Keio's fun food event featuring Shinshu (Nagano), Hida Takayama (Gifu), and Toyama will start from May 25th (Thursday)! Located in the central region of Japan, these 3 regions are filled with harvest from both the sea and the mountains.

Selected local favorites like wagyu beef, sushi, and ramen, as well as desserts and traditional crafts will be showing up! Let's take a look at some of them♬

Nigiri-zushi: available from 160 yen per plate

Enjoy carefully selected local seafood from Toyama Bay with special soy sauce from a brewery in Toyama Prefecture.

[Hida Takayama/Takayama City Industrial Promotion Association]
(left) Sarubobo (H15cm): 1,320 yen
(right) Ushibobo (H13cm): 1,650 yen

"Sarubobo" means "Monkey Baby" in the Hida dialect. An amulet to wish for a marriage, safe delivery, and growth of a child.

[Hida Takayama/Akebonoya]
Mitarashi Dango (5 skewers): 550 yen

A long established shop that continues to use its original recipe. Savory soy sauce taste is a representative flavor of the Hida region.

A5 Grade Hida Beef Sirloin Steak Bento: 2,600 yen per box
*Limited to 40 boxes per day.
A luxurious bento topped with A5 Grade Hida Beef which is known for its fine, tender texture and rich flavor.

"Chuka Soba" (中華そば: Chinese Noodle) topped with bean sprouts and radish sprouts, just as it is served at MIYAKAWACHUKASOBA in Hida Takayama.

A long established Togakushi soba restaurant with a history of more than 390 years. Enjoy the combination of maitake mushroom tempura and zaru soba.
