It takes about 1 hour both from Kansai International Airport in Western Japan which is the main entrance for people arriving from abroad or from Mount Koya registered as world heritage site. Moreover this ryokan (Japanese hotel) stands in front of the large front gates of built in 770 Kokawadera temple. The temple is the 3rd sacred place in the route of 33 holy temples in the western part of Japan.
We offer "Kuenabe" pot dish cooked from local seafood and ingredients of Wakayama prefecture and local meals made mainly with healthy seasonal vegetables harvested near Kinokawa city. Large communal bath and bathes in rooms are also available so you can relax comfortably.

During one of Three Great Festivals of Kishu "Yoimatsuri" ("The eve of a festival") decorated portable shrines stand in a row and process via Tonmaka Street.
During "Honmatsuri" ("The main festival") the ceremony of passing a sacred object is being held. The procession of 400 children in warrior costumes riding horses is splendid.
It is also possible to have barbecue in Kannoyama Fruits Mountain. Pick up and drop off at Jinzu Hot Spring can be provided.
