The Matsubara Farm, which has been for about 120 years in the Kinokawa, Wakayama Prefecture, is now run by Yoshiyoshi Matsubara, the sixth generation.
In the fall, we cultivate mainly persimmon, mandarin oranges from winter to early spring, Shiranui, Hakusaku citrus, onions in spring, and corn in summer.

In particular, the local original “Kinokawa Persimmon” feels the astringency by carrying out the de-budding process on the tree, which is performed by hanging a bag containing solid alcohol when the astringent is growing on the tree. It is a vine that has been cultivated with a unique method that allows you to collect ripe fruits and eat them immediately. With a juicy, light sweetness and a delicious black pulp like a pear, the Kinokawa Persimmon is very easy to eat for those who love and don't like it.

At Matsubara Farm, fruit hunting is being carried out during production.
