Our sake are managed in the refrigerator, therefore if you contact us in advance by phone, we can prepare it without keeping you waiting.
Brewery tour is available once a year at the end of March or the beginning of April.

Kokonoe Saika was founded in 1908 as a brewer of vinegar.

In 1934, we began producing sake with the idea that “better vinegar should be made from sake lees, the main ingredient,” and the goal of “making sake that suits the meal”.
Wakayama is said to be the birthplace of sushi, and in order to meet the trust of the local people, it is our unwavering belief that we procure important raw materials on our own.

"Saiga Ginjo Vinegar (Akazu)" 300ml 580 yen (excluding tax)
This is a red vinegar (rice vinegar) that can only be made with sake and vinegar.
A masterpiece of 100% Yamada Nishiki pure rice daiginjo sake that has been aged for more than 3 years, fermented and matured with pure rice sake for 30 days in 30 stones.
It features an elegant and mellow taste that complements the ingredients.

"Yamada Nishiki Junmai Daiginjo Saika" 720ml 1,950 yen (excluding tax)
Junmai Daiginjo Sake is characterized by its gorgeous Ginjo incense, Yamada Nishiki's rice flavor and sharpness.
In 2018, he won the Platinum Award (1st in the category) and the Jury Special Award at the 2nd KURA MASTER Japanese Sake Competition in Paris.
In the same year, he won a gold medal at the London Sake Challenge (Junmai Daiginjo).

"Saka Umeshu" 720ml 1,250 yen (tax not included)
It features authentic plum wine prepared with Japanese sake, fresh plum flavor and acidity. Rock is recommended for serving.
*Pure wine was the only gold medal awarded at the "Contest International Lyon 2018" held in Lyon, France.
*Received a gold medal in the “London Sake Challenge 2018” and Umeshu / Other Sake category.
