Road station "Negoro historical hill" ("Negoro Rekishi no Oka") is situated close to Negoro-ji build in the end of Heian Era. Facility offering goods for sale and relaxation "Hanaemi-kan", Negoro historical museum, eating facility Negoro-an and Important Cultural Property Former Assembly Hall of Wakayama Prefecture (Ichijokaku) are built. This is a complex facility consisting of Important Cultural Properties offering not only products for sale but also place for rest and corner with information.

The shop is filled with elaborate souvenirs and premium products from Wakayama prefecture as well as special local items. Especially special product of Iwade city "Kuro awabi kinoko curry" made of black awabi mushrooms, tsukudani (preservable food boiled down in soy sauce), croquettes, burgers and another products are also available. Moreover you can purchase traditional art work "Negoro-nuri" with history and technique being the origin of Wajima-nuri lacquerware.
