In the late Heian period, the Kumano faith was at its height of prosperity, and pilgrims formed a long queue along the Kumano Pilgrimage Route.
The way they formed a queue was called "Kumano Ant Pilgrimage," and it's been said that the Kumano Kodo was lined with people dressed in elegant Heian period costumes. In this experience tour, you can get changed in a costume that looks like that of Heian period and hike Kumano Kodo trails. It will be a unique and special experience you can only have in an authentic place while on a trip. Why don’t you experience deeply sacred time in Mt. Nachisan in the same costume worn by pilgrims of that time?
Experience time 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (Reception closes at 3 pm) Those with reservations are prioritized.
Price Up to 2 hours: ¥3,000 (tax included)
2 to 3 hours: ¥4,500 (tax included)
¥500 (tax included) is added for every 20 minutes after that.
