Nakazaki-cho, a 10-minute walk from Osaka Station, is a district where a labyrinth of old houses stand side by side. This area with its retro atmosphere is home to a variety of stores, including vintage clothing, sundries, sweets, and cafes. Why don't you walk around this charming city and enjoy the wonderful discoveries you will encounter?

Here are some quick recommendations!
POPEYE which has vintage clothing and sundries purchased by the owner tastefully.

Focusing on designs from the 1950s and 1960s, the store has a 50-50 selection of vintage American and European clothing. Vintage clothing might be difficult to wear in terms of size and style, however, the owner will offer suggestions on how to coordinate with the clothes the visitor has, so the visitor may be able to try on new outfits.

・Recommended Items ①・・・Vintage Spring Coat 15,180 yen (Tax included, same as below)

Owner's favorite product. This outfit caught the owner's eye first when the owner went to buy the clothes and thought the collar was cute because it looked like a china-style dress. This light coat from the 1970s can be used in a relatively wide range of situations.

Recommended Items ②・・・Elvis Presley sweatshirt from the 90s 16,280 yen

Since there is no one in the U.S. who does not know Elvis Presley, vintage clothing that portrays Elvis is rarely seen in the market. It is a rare product made in the U.S.A. that was somehow obtained.

■Handmade accessories with café ・Sundries store 「majocafe」

Many original products are available, including one-of-a-kind accessories that are exclusive to this store. Also, it is a place where you can always find your favorite accessories by allowing you to do a little design work on the products of your liking. In addition to original products, we always carry products from about 20 artists.

Recommended Items ①・・・ Very cute Gemstone Ring 1,650 yen

The stones for the rings are collected from various countries, and there are no two stones of the same color or shape, with more than about 200 items available at a time. The rings are very cute when worn together and many people buy them not only for themselves but also as gifts for their friends.

Recommended Items ②・・・ Original using old tiles Tiles art

This is an original product designed and manufactured by the shop. It is a reproduction of tiles that are more than 50 years old. Products include rings, brooches, hair bands, and more, in an ever-expanding number of colors, with about 50 varieties now available. We are looking forward to future tile workshops.

■Game Center full of retro and handmade atmosphere Elemeka Laboratory

The owner bought parts and materials at a hardware store and handcrafted eight game machines, giving the arcade a handmade feel. In Japan, there used to be a culture of playing games for 10 yen, so the owner wanted to continue that culture. Half of the machines can be played for 10 yen.

Recommended game ①・・・ Handmade games by the owner 「Mountain Downhill Game」 One play per 10 yen

▲ A somewhat “relaxed” game that is typical of Osaka.

This game is played by using the handle under the machine to launch the ball up, over the barrier and into the goal at the bottom, but operating the handle is moderately difficult. The machines have a nostalgic feel not often seen in arcades because they are handmade.

Recommended game ②・・・Sega Jumbo」 from 1969 One play per 200 yen

Only a few of these machines remain in Japan, and the owner used to play with them as a child. The owner missed it and wanted to play with it again, so it is currently in the store after finding out. The game is simple: when the ball in the center of the machine floats up, the elephant's nose, which looks like a vacuum cleaner, sucks it up and puts it in the hole.
