Welcome! to Parent-child Exhibition for Appreciating Charm of Akazu Ware

A special exhibition where you will be able to appreciate the beautiful traditional craft Akazu Ware is going to take place! Works produced utilizing the seven types of glazes, such as Oribe, Shino and Ofuke, and various decoration techniques, such as Inka, Kushime and Misimade, will be arranged.
In this exhibition, you can view wonderful works that highlight the identities of the parent and child Seihou and Rougetu Umemura!

Craftsmanship Close at Hand！Demonstration of Production 🎨

How about feeling the world of ceramic art closer? We will sufficiently show the attraction of traditional techniques, as Mr. Tomohiro (Rougetu) Umemura demonstrates glazed decoration based on iron painting!

Workshop for Ceramic Art Experience✨

A painting experience suitable for those who think, 「I want to make my own ware!」 is going to take place as well!
You can freely design an unglazed round dish of approximately 15 cm in diameter with iron painting.

💰 Participation fee：3,300 yen
⌛ Duration：Approximately 30 minutes
