What is Shibayama Crafts?

Shibayama craftsmanship is a technique that uses mother of pearl and coral on lacquerware and ivory, and is characterized by three-dimensional patterns. The delicate and gorgeous finish has a beauty that will captivate you at first sight.

Contents
You can experience making your own original Maki-e on a tray (18cm in diameter). You will draw a picture using a substitute for lacquer and then sprinkle seven colors of powder on top to complete it.
