Kimono experience at "Asakusa Taisho Romankan"

Asakusa Taisho Romankan, a kimono rental and cafe, has a large selection of one-of-a-kind antique kimonos, and adopts old and new Japanese culture by combining the antique kimonos with the original decorative accessories.

You can coordinate the kimono just like the western style clothes, so even if you are new to kimono, you may be able to find your own style.


【Experience flow】

① Firstly, pick a kimono on the 3rd floor.
　There are a wide variety of collar decorations and obis, so you can customize them to your liking.

② After changing into the selected kimono, you can have your hair set to match the kimono.
　※Normally, taking a picture in the changing room and hair setting room is not allowed.

③ Once you get your hair set completed, you can take a picture at the self-photo space which is only for the kimono rental customers, or walk along the Nakamise-dori... have fun until the return time!
