【Attraction of this tour】
◆Natural environment
The southernmost sea of Honshu, nurtured by the Kuroshio Current and mild climate. You will learn about the sea of Kushimoto by fishing for rare fish in the actual sea and feeding them in the backyard at Kushimoto Underwater Park, the first underwater park in Japan. This is a rare and precious experience not found in other aquariums, such as touching a baby turtle.

You will learn about the richness of Kushimoto's marine environment and environmental changes.

Elementary school students and older
※Elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

●Duration
Approx. 5.5 hours

●Fees
Adult：10,000 yen
Elementary school students and younger: 8,000 yen
※Fees are to be paid in cash to the guide at the meeting place on the day of the tour.
※Please prepare the exact amount

●Cancelation Policy
One day before the tour : 50%
On the day of the tour : 100%

●Things to bring on the day
・Towel
・Hat
・Drinks (vending machines will be available)
Please be sure to take measures not to drop your camera or phone in the ocean.

●Schedule of the day
・9:15 Gather at Kushimoto Fishing Port (Google MAP) and register
Please gather at Kushimoto Fishing Port.
We will have a reception tent on the side of "Cosmo Oil" on the day of the event.

・9:30～11:30 Fishing for rare fish
The Kuroshio Current brings us a mixture of temperate and subtropical zones to the sea of Kushimoto. In the sea with the richest variety of fish in Japan, you can try fishing only for "rare fish." Through fishing, you will have a chance to meet and touch "colorful," "ugly," and "grotesque" fish that you would not normally see, learn about Kishimoto sea and rare fish, and be surprised and moved by them. This is an experience that will make you feel the importance of nature.

・11:30 Lunch
You will have lunch individually
After lunch, we will meet at Kushimoto Marine Park(Google MAP) at 12:55
If you are coming by public transportation, please take the shuttle bus departing from Kushimoto Station at 12:40.

・13:00 Start the backyard tour at Kushimoto Marine Park.
Facing the sea, Kushimoto Marine Park is a special and historic aquarium where seawater is taken and circulated.
During the tour, a keeper will tell you about the sea and its creatures, and take you around the museum, the underwater observation tower, and the backyard.

・15:00 Tour ends
The tour will end at Kushimoto Marine Park.
※The shuttle bus for Kushimoto Station will depart at 15:20.

Please make a reservation for the tour by 5pm of 2 days prior to the day.（Example: If the reservation is for Sep. 10, the deadline for the reservation is 5 p.m., Sep. 8.）
