【Tour Information】

Elementary school students and above
※Elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
●Required Time
3.5 hours
●Fee
Adult : 6,000 yen
Elementary school students and younger: 3,000 yen
※Fees are to be paid in cash to the guide at the meeting place on the day of the tour. Please have the exact amount ready.
※The above fee includes admission to the Okyo Rosetsu Museum and a one-way community bus ride to Kushimoto Station.

On the day of the tour: 100%

※Cancellation fees will be charged at the above rates depending on the date of cancellation notice.
●Things to bring on the day
・Drinks
・Wear comfortable walking clothes, a hat, and work gloves if you have them
・Insect repellent, sunscreen, or cold protection depending on the season
●Schedule for the day
・13:00 Meet at JR Kushimoto Station(Google Map)
Please gather at JR Kushimoto Station.
We will meet you at the JR Kushimoto Station for registration, guide staff introductions, tour briefing, and a pre-departure restroom check.
・Tour begins
Starting with the hidden power spot Yagura Shrine in Yanokuma, the tour will visit historic buildings in the town, including Muryo-ji Temple, where you can see sliding door paintings by Okyo and Rosetsu that have been designated as national important cultural properties in ※Kushimoto Okyo Rosetsu Art Museum, and Touson-tei, where you can learn about a little-known anecdote.
Might be also naval facilities used during the Pacific War?
※The real ones may be on loan for exhibitions. Please check the Muryo-ji Temple website for the availability of exhibits.
In the latter half of the tour, you will have a beachcombing experience at the beach at the forefront of the formation of a sandbar.
※The location and content of the tour may be subject to change due to weather and wave conditions, and at the discretion of the guide.
・16:30 ~ Take a community bus from near seashore and disperse at JR Kushimoto Station
