Kannoya's representative confectionery “Kaden Yubeshi” has long been popular to the people of Fukushima for its hometown taste.
The unique crane-like form of Kaden Yubeshi, originates from the legend that the lord of Miharu Castle “Yoshiaki Tamura” had an ancestor who was raised by two cranes. His name was "Sakanoue no Tamuramaro".
After that, in 1860, A man named Bunsuke Kanno who called himself “Kannoya”, started making the yubeshi that is still being continued. Since then, its traditional taste has been loved over the years and become a Miharu's specialty and Fukushima's representative confectionery.
