TSURUYA DEPARTMENT STORE

"Tsuruya Department Store" is the only department store in Kumamoto Prefecture located in the center of Kumamoto City. Around the store, you can find 'Kumamoto Castle', one of Japan's three most famous castles, and the shopping and restaurant streets of 'Kamitori, Shimotori, and Sunroad Shinshigai', one of the largest in Western Japan, and there are also plenty of sightseeing spots.

We have a wide selection of items from fashion to miscellaneous goods, cosmetics, food, and restaurants, and especially in the basement of the department store, you can enjoy shopping for Kumamoto gourmet, sweets, sake, Kuma shochu (alcohol), etc. There are also high-end brands such as 'Gucci' and 'Tiffany', as well as specialty stores like 'Hands', 'Alpine Outdoors', 'GAP', and others.
