The nearest rest house in Tsurugajo, located at the entrance of Tsurugajo kita-demaru. It is popular for its menus using ingredients well suited to each of the four seasons.
We have local dishes, Kitakata ramen, handmade gelato and Baumkuchen cake made and directly sold here. We also have a full selection of souvenir products from within the prefecture, including special local Aizu products, Aizu lacquerware, Aizu Hongo-yaki pottery, Aizu confectionery, Aizu sake, folk crafts, and special product corners.
We also have an activity corner where you can experience ceramics painting for Aka-beko (a red cow-shaped toy), Oki-agari koboshi (a toy that wobbles and stands up when knocked over) and Chinese fortune-telling cycles.
