Sumo is a popular national sport in Japan and has long history of more than 1,500 years. "THE SUMO HALL HIRAKUZA OSAKA" , a hall where you can enjoy the sumo as an entertainment , was opened in Osaka in May this year. Let us introduce new hands-on programs start in October at this hall.

■Contents of new hands-on programs

In this approximately 90-minute program conducted all in English, you can enhance your knowledge about sumo through the performance by the ex-sumo wrestler. After joining the training experience, you can enjoy an authentic chanko-nabe, made by the ex-sumo wrestler (one bowl per person).
By feeling the charm of sumo and experiencing the depth of Japanese culture, you can spend a premium and memorable time.

1. ABC of sumo(introduction of Japanese culture/sumo)
2. Premium experience of training
・Experience of conducts such as shiko etc. on the sumo ring (everyone can join)
・Challenge to sumo wrestler (number of people are limited)
3. Memorial photo with sumo wrestler
4. Chanko-nabe treat (presenting the authentic chanko-nabe by ex-sumo wrestler, one bowl per person)
