■ Recommended Artwork ①
Recommended work:New release: Megaliths in the Open Universe
Drawing inspiration from giant rocks (megaliths), this piece uses changing light within the installation to express the vastness of the universe and the eternity of time. Waterfalls painted in light envelop the rocks, which are placed on living moss. Walking through the installation gives visitors a sensation reminiscent of strolling through a traditional Japanese garden, where the flowers change with the seasons. There are also versions featuring waterfalls and flowers.

The museum's highlight is the 'Massless Amorphous Sculpture'.
Japan Premiere: “Massless Amorphous Sculpture”
This mesmerising sculpture, created from soap bubbles, air and water, is making its Japan debut. This ethereal artwork has no mass. Floating within the space, it changes shape and colour depending on the viewer’s movements and perspective, allowing visitors to step inside and experience it first-hand.
One of the most captivating aspects is the immersive sensation of becoming part of the artwork itself. Representing teamLab’s signature approach to experiential art, the sculpture took over five years to craft and stands as a testament to the team's dedication to blending technology, nature, and human interaction.
■ Recommended Artwork ③
“Forest of Resonating Lamps: One Stroke – A Year in the Mountains”
This piece uses handcrafted Venetian lamps to symbolise the changing of the seasons. When a lamp is approached, its light radiates outwards and spreads to the surrounding lamps. The lamps, which use traditional Japanese colours, fill the entire space, creating a mesmerising world that seems to stretch into infinity. Visitors can immerse themselves completely in this captivating environment, where light and colour react to their presence.

“Traces of Life”

This interactive installation explores the 'traces' left behind by human movement and presence in a space. As visitors walk, stop or move through the space, patterns of light are generated that evolve over time and eventually fade away. Each visitor's actions become part of the artwork itself, offering a unique and fleeting experience that exists only in the moment it is created.
■ Recommended Artwork ⑤
'A Window to the Universe where Little People Live'
This interactive installation allows visitors to play with tiny people living inside the walls. Touching the walls triggers reactions, enabling children and adults alike to engage with the artwork intuitively. Exuding teamLab’s signature playful spirit, this hands-on, immersive experience brings joy to visitors of all ages.
