Do you know about "goshuin-cho", the item visitors want to have when they go to shrines and temples? It is a kind of special notebook, for stamps called "goshuin" which are received as proof of paying homage at a shrine or temple. In many of the shrines and temples in Japan, original "goshuin-cho" are on sale, and it is popular to collect them, especially for ladies. Allow us to recommend here some temples and shrines for your collection!

Nikko Toshogu Shrine(日光東照宮)

Many visitors from both Japan and overseas come to Tochigi Prefecture to visit the popular tourist and World Heritage Sites of Nikko. As well as renowned spiritual "power spots", there is the famous carving of three monkeys who "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". There are two types of "goshuin-cho" available here. The red type is available year-round, and there is also a limited-edition blue type!

Rin-noji Temple, at Nikko mountain, is comprised of sacred temples and buildings at a total of 15 locations starting with the main hall (Three Buddha Hall), which are known collectively as the Nikko-zan Rin-noji Temple.
