The first person who introduced us what she shopped is this lady! She is from New York and she came to Japan 5 days ago with this guy (who was sitting besides her but was too shy to appear himself in the camera haha).
They told me that they came to Japan as a business trip and not for fun. However, she seemed to have been taking its full benefit because she had a lot of shopped stuffs in her eco bag! haha
She seemed very happy getting these cute and finely-made masking tapes and letters with traditional Japanese `sakura` theme!
“I’m going to use these tapes to decorate on photo frames and these envelopes for Christmas message cards!”
She also got a pair of gloves from 100-Yen-Shop ($1 Shop) and she seemed very content about her purchase!
“These are only $1 and they are soooo cute! I’m ready for the cold winter in New York.”
We then went down to Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal (新宿バスタ). The next person we got to interview was this family from Thailand!
They came here for sightseeing and delicious Japanese food! On the last day, they went to `Fujiko F Fujio Museum` or what we call `Doraemon Museum`.
Let's see what's inside the big bag... !
The mother proudly showed us a lot of souvenirs from the museum. All they shopped was food though… haha
“We wanted to go to the museum because it’s shown in Thailand for over 30 years and is very popular!”
Apparently, doraemon is as popular in Japan as in Thailand! Hmm… very interesting :)
