Uniqlo introduced new products for newborns and pregnant women

Uniqlo started selling 50 to 60 cm size underwear which could be worn right after the birth, bibs and sleepers. For pregnant women, shorts, leggings and jeans which are very comfortable would be sold.

For newborns, cotton 100% is very good in touch and the product is made by a single piece of fabric without any seams in the side and the back. The buttons are made by plastic and the color is different in the middle to avoid fastening a wrong button. The sleeve openings are made to be wide to be easy to wear. Baby bodysuits (short length) are 990 yen, long length bodysuits (called “Combi”) are 1,500 yen and a pair of bibs (two in one set) is 590 yen. A sleeper is 1,500 yen.

For pregnant women, shorts and bottoms are sold. They are high rise with special stretch materials being used for the tummy and the joint of both legs and the part around the stomach are loose and not too tight. 　The hem of the bottoms is wide in order not to press legs which are easily to swell. Ultra stretch jeans are 3,990 yen, leggings are 1,500 yen, leggings pants are 2,990 yen and shorts are 790 yen.
