I went to a limited Japanese hand fans shop last week. At this shop, I saw two kinds of Japanese hand fans, Sensu (Folding fan) and Uchiwa (Round fan).Uchiwa (Round fan) is an essential accessory in the summer in JAPAN. I like those Uchiwa so much!! Japanese style pictures are printed on them. Convenient size that allows you to carry it around easily in your bag.
This Patterns printed on the uchiwa are so cool！！
1.Sensu (Folding fan) Sensu (Folding fan) is traditional craft which is originated in Japan and have the history from the Heian period. They are made with paper on a bamboo flame. There are various Sensu at this shop that make me dazzled.
Manager said this one is most popular for foreign customers. Because the front side and back side have different pictures.

The shop is only open from August 1st to August 17th at Tokyo Station.
