The Hyatt Regency Kyoto offers its guests Japanese omotenashi hospitality unique to Kyoto in a contemporary Japanese setting. We are pleased to announce that every evening from 6:15 p.m. in the hotel lobby, a Maiko (apprentice Geisha) from Kyoto’s Miyagawa-cho district will perform an elegant traditional dance, and then graciously pose for photos and welcome and chat with guests at the restaurant and bar from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Please take the opportunity to enjoy this truly memorable experience.

The hotel’s Japanese restaurant Touzan is also selling a special Hanami bento box until May 31 (only 20 available per day), which is a great way to enjoy a traditional Japanese bento as you stroll around Kyoto in the spring. The two-tiered bento features seasonal ingredients from Kyoto in the top layer, while colorful chirashi zushi* fills the second layer.
