New landmark "Grand Hammer Shimbashi"

Open since November 2024 at Shimbashi in Tokyo, "Grand Hammer Shimbashi" is a topic complex facility where meal, culture and entertainment are fused. Various experiences attract visitors such as floors on which they can enjoy from Japanese traditional culture to worldwide gourmet. Visiting tourists and local people can experience new discoveries at this facility. We want to introduce especially recommended charms on each floors.
1. B1 Seafood restaurant where you can experience Ama culture: "Amajou"
Ama are traditional Japanese women divers who catch shellfish and fish without using special equipment. The restaurant has a 20-ton water tank, and “Ama divers' diving demonstrations” are held daily (5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.). The “Hitori-nabe” (one-pot dish) is also popular, where you can enjoy seafood and Japanese black beef shipped directly from the production area in your favorite cooking method, such as shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, or hamayaki. You can enjoy a special experience of traditional Japanese culture and exquisite gourmet food in Shimbashi!

2. 1F You can experience Japanese culture: "Shimbashi Yokocho BUSHO"
The first floor is a large space with the theme of "Japanese culture" where armor and traditional decorations are displayed, which remind of the Sengoku Period. Shops in which you can enjoy special meal from all over Japan are gathered, so you can feel as if you're travelling around the whole of Japan through meal.

3. 2F You can rediscover charms of Asia: "Shimbashi Yokocho ASIA"
On the second floor, you will find an area where you can experience Asian food stall culture while still in Japan. Restaurants offering authentic flavors of Thai, Chinese, Korean, and other cuisines are lined up, creating an exotic atmosphere. One of the features of the Grand Hammer is that you can “hop from one restaurant to another” within the Grand Hammer, such as going to a Korean restaurant for the second time after enjoying dishes from various regions of Japan at Busou.

4. 3F You can enjoy a fusion of show and meal: "The Grand Tokyo"
The third floor is an interactive restaurant floor where dining and entertainment are combined. A variety of stage performances such as Japanese drums, Japanese dance, and even a magic show can be enjoyed while dining. It is a space that creates a special evening just by visiting.

5. “TATAMI”, a special experience of Japanese sake and matcha green tea sweets in a Japanese-style space surrounded by tatami mats.
The 8th floor is a bar where you can enjoy Japanese sake and sweets using Kyoto Uji matcha green tea in a uniquely Japanese space surrounded by tatami mats. Rare sake from all over Japan is available, and matcha sweets made in cooperation with a famous Kyoto store can be enjoyed. The aroma of tatami mats and rush grass creates a relaxing Japanese atmosphere.
