Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo opened in June 2023!
The second to open in the world after "Studio Tour London" in the U.K., this place allows visitors to take a futher look on the behind-the-scenes production of the "Harry Potter" and "Fantastic Beasts" movie series, while enjoying a number of amazing sets.
■Movie Sets
・The Great Hall
The Great Hall of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is one of the most impressive places in the vast Hogwarts Castle.
It has been the setting for numerous scenes including feasts, Christmas dances, and magical duels.
・Moving staircases
At Studio Tour Tokyo, you can experience the magic of the Hogwarts staircase moving before your eyes, just as it does in the movies.
・Diagon Alley
Diagon Alley is a hectic shopping district and an essential place for students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to prepare for the new school year.
The building in the photo is Weasley Wizard Wheezes, a store specializing in pranks by the Weasley twins.
・Ministry of Magic
This is a full-scale Ministry of Magic set that can only be seen at Studio Tour Tokyo.
Visitors can enter the fireplace and experience commuting with Floo Powder (chimney flight powder), same as the Ministry of Magic employees in the movie.
■Cafes & Restaurants
Visitors can also enjoy meals at the 4 cafes and restaurants in here. This time, we introduce the Backlot Café, recommended by the author!
Enjoy Wizarding World-themed food and desserts in between tours, including a colorful special plate inspired by the four dormitories and a cake in the shape of cute Hedwig.
■Studio Tour Shops
Studio Tour Tokyo souvenirs can be purchased at two stores: the Main Shop and the Railway Shop!
The main store is the world's largest Harry Potter store, divided into 11 sections by magical themes. It offers a wide variety of products from the Wizarding World, including products exclusive to the Studio Tour Tokyo.
Goods
Although we have only introduced a small part of the place, there are numerous exhibits and hands-on corners on its expansive grounds, and if you take the time to look around, you could easily spend 3-4 hours there in no time at all.
Harry Potter lovers should definitely visit!
