Alpen Group's largest flagship store opened in Shinjuku on April 1, 2022.
The store has a total of 10 floors, including Sports Depot, Alpen Outdoors, Golf 5, and carries approximately 350,000 products.
With an overwhelming lineup of products and a floor structure that allows customers to shop while experiencing the products, this facility can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to enthusiasts.
■Alpine Outdoors Flagship Store Shinjuku
The 3rd floor consists of outdoor apparel and ladies' and kids' apparel, the 4th floor includes camping brand goods, and the 5th floor is the outdoor brand section.
The sales floor is lined with products divided by scene, such as "TAKIBI" and "AKARI."
In addition, there is a section dedicated to solo camping, which has been attracting increasing attention recently.
Visitors can quickly find the products they are looking for and shop for them while imagining how they will use them in their camping activities.
Lanterns are the most popular item in the "AKARI" section.
Many customers buy tents, and snow peak is the most popular brand.
Customers in Southeast Asia, where it is difficult to obtain camping equipment in their own countries, also like to buy tents.
Another great feature is that you can actually try out the tents! Even beginners in camping can choose products with confidence.
■GOLF5 Flagship Store Shinjuku
The 6th floor is a golf apparel and golf shoes floor, and the 7th floor is a golf club floor, offering everything you need for golf.
There are eight well-equipped hitting bays at the trial hitting corner.
Many foreign customers buy Japanese brands of golf clubs, with MAJESTY GOLF and HONMA GOLF in particular being overwhelmingly popular.
Craftsman-made clubs are difficult to find overseas, and many people buy a set of clubs that they are particular about.
■Sports Depot Flagship Store Shinjuku
The Sports Depot occupies four floors: baseball on the B2 floor; tennis, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, and swimming on the B1 floor; basketball and track & field on the 1st floor; soccer and men's apparel on the 2nd floor.
Each floor is unique and exciting: the tennis floor has the same flooring as the tennis courts in Ariake, the track-inspired flooring for track and field, and the artificial turf for the soccer floor.
Racket sports products are especially popular among foreign customers on the Sports Depot floor.
Rackets made in Japan are of good quality, and models of famous athletes are gaining popularity.
As the largest store of its kind, its charm does not just lie in the abundant number of products, but also for the hands-on experience corners that take advantage of the store's spaciousness and the realistic interior design.
The store also carries many popular made-in-Japan brands, so be sure to check them out when shopping for sports, outdoors, and golf!
