From June 17th (Wed) to 22nd (Mon), the 5th 「Konahaku」 (Flour Expo) will be held at the Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro, 8th floor event hall, offering six days of food satisfying both your stomach and your heart. 「Konahaku」 is a gourmet event where various Japanese "flour-based" dishes, such as steamed pork buns and takoyaki, will be gathered in one place.

Highlights include the popular 551 Juicy Special Set from Osaka (pork buns, dumplings and potstickers), as well as a premium takoyaki set featuring the finest fresh octopus! You can also enjoy Ajisirabe takoyaki in four different flavors, yakisoba-noodles made with locally produced flour, cooked on a griddle until crispy on the outside and chewy inside, low-temperature cooked minced meat patty in lite batter, matcha affogato topped with black sugar syrup with sprinkle of roasted soybean flour, and other sweets such as the currently popular scones.
