【Iwataya Main Store】「Guest Card」 (5% OFF) to save on shopping ~For foreign visitors to Japan~

We will issue a 「Guest Card」 that allows foreign visitors to purchase at a 5% discount.

A 「Guest Card」 will be issued at the duty free counter on the 7th floor of the Iwataya Main Store New Bldg.　※A passport is required for issuing.

【Paying methods using the Guest Card】

Cash / Credit card owned by the buyer / UnionPay card owned by the buyer / Alipay / WeChat Pay　※Cards not owned by the buyer cannot be used

※The Guest Card can only be used by its owner. It cannot be used by others.

※The name in the guest cards, credit card, UnionPay card and passport must all match.

(Tax exemption is possible if you can verify your identity. If it does not match, tax exemption is not possible)

【Issuance eligibility】

Foreign passport holders with temporary visitor status, with less than 6 month of stay after entering the country.

※Those who hold a Japanese passport are not eligible.

【Expiration date】

Guest cards are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. (This differs from the 「period of use」 shown above on this page.)

【Products not eligible】

・Products with a unit price less than 3,000 JPY

・On-sale products

・Food and beverage charges for food, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.

・Service fees such as postage, processing fee, repair fee, etc.

・Photo studios, beauty salons, barber shops, hairdressers, etc.

・All types of gift vouchers, gold, silver, bullion, game consoles, JTB

・Some brands are excluded　※Please ask the staff for details.

List of ineligible brands: Special products by default at each store from Rolex, Hermès, BVLGARI, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Leica, Patek Philippe, Van Cleef & Arpels, and FOXY etc.

※Please note that there may be more items added to the list of ineligible products.
