NAO Japanese paper, which has a history of 300 years, is a handmade paper workshop in Nao,
Saga Prefecture, where all processes from the cultivation of Kajiki, one of materials for Japanese paper to the production of a single piece of paper are carried out.

Nao is located in a valley that brings abundant spring water and a temperature difference
suitable for raw material cultivation. There used to be about 100 paper workshops, but now only this workshop is left. As the last workshop of Nao Japanese paper, we will pass on traditional manufacturing to the next generation.
