Tokyo Skytree Town (R) Koinobori Festival 2024

To commemorate Children's Day on May 5th this year, we will hold the 「Tokyo Skytree Town (R) Koinobori Festival 2024」.

Kazo City in Saitama Prefecture, along the Tobu Line, which is one of the largest producers of carp streamers in Japan, and where a 100-meter-long jumbo carp streamer swim is held in May; Tatebayashi City in Gunma Prefecture, which is famous for displaying a large number of carp streamers every year; and Kato City in Hyogo Prefecture, which is a producer of specialty carp streamers called 「Banshu Koi」 (Banshu carp); will corporate and the event will take place at various locations in TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN, including the「Sky Arena」, a plaza at the foot of the Tokyo Sky Tree (R). Approximately 1,500 carp streamers will be hoisted.
