2026 May Fifth an anniversary "TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN® Koinobori Festival 2026" will be held celebratind the Children`s day.

Leading carp streamers production districts in the country will hoist around 1000 carp streamers across Sky Arena, Solamachi, and all around Tokyo Skytree Town facilities. Participating in the event are Kazo City in Saitama Prefecture, known for flying a 100-meter-long jumbo carp streamer in May, Tatebayashi City in Gunma Prefecture, where numerous carp streamers are displayed annually, and Kato City in Hyogo Prefecture renowned for its traditional “Banshu-goi.”


Also, from Sumida Aquarium, a giant banner featuring three species of garden eels and their companions living in the aquarium will appear as the motif.

Among the many carp streamers displayed around the area, be sure to try to find the “Garden Eel Streamer.”
