Art Fair Tobu 2026: Art Travel〜Beyond the Everyday〜

From April 15th (Wed) to 20th (Mon), Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro will host 「Art Fair Tobu 2026: Art Travel - Beyond the Everyday,」 an art journey that transcends time and space. We will guide you through seven sections:

1.Beautiful and moving landscape paintings [Utopia 〜Ideal World〜]
2.Why not take an artistic journey through Japan? You can even time-travel for an 「Edo stroll」. [Japan Art Stroll]
3.An encounter with the fresh creativity of artists active in the world of contemporary art［Frontier〜Land of Exploration〜］
4Highly spiritual, preserving tradition while brimming with new creativity［〜Sanctuary〜］
5.Lively animal works［〜Paradise〜］
6.Masters of modern Western painting who established their studios in Montparnasse, Paris［Montparnasse〜mountain of the Goddess of Art〜］
7.Peace and purification, a cleansing of the soul, conveying a deep love for the natural world［Avalon〜Island of Healing〜］

We are pleased to present a selection of approximately 1,500 works, ranging from emerging artists to deceased artists whose works are typically found in art museums.
