Kincho no Uzumaki (The golden bird’s spiral) (from 1902)

Replacing dangerous smoky fires to repel mosquitoes, a mosquito repelling incense using pyrethrum plants have debut. The original was a cylindrical shape like an incense stick at a Buddhist alter, but as time goes by, the shape was changed to “spiral” to last longer.

The spiral design is functionally superior and also very fancy.

The point is this is a Japanese summer tradition.

MONO Eraser (from 1969)

This plastic eraser used to be a bonus for people who purchased one dozen high-quality pencils. The eraser erased letters so well, which made such a good reputation. Then it was released in an individual eraser.

Why this could erase so well? It’s like a magic!

I hear that this is No.1 ,“MONO”, eraser for Japanese.
