Recently in Japan, businesses have been using the cool aesthetic of ninja to appeal to foreign tourists, perhaps thanks in part to popular anime and manga series such as Naruto. Tokyo already has its very own VR ninja training dojo and even a kunoichi cafe where lady ninja teach you to throw shuriken and make riceballs. And starting July 1st, Ninja Cafe and Bar will open in the tourist-popular Asakusa neighborhood of Tokyo.

The cafe and bar is headed by Holiday Jack, a creative entertainment and event group. The idea is to create an immersive ninja dining experience that combines optional ninja training with a unique dining experience. You can already get a sense of that from the distinguished torii gate entrance and ninja weaponry on display in the restaurant.
