Japan's unique “Premium Friday”

On February 24, 2017, a national policy “Premium Friday” was departed. This day, many events held at various part of Japan.

What is t“Premium Friday”?
(1) Last Friday of every month.
(2) Workers can return to home earlier than usual.
(3) This is a chance for enterprisers to shoring up consumption.
(4) This day, workers can kick off in the afternoon, and have extra time for trips, taking lessons, enjoying meal with families,etc.

“Premium Friday”, not only drive to goose spending, but also aid efforts on work-life balance.

Let's back to February 24.

This day, there was a event held from 15:00 at a shopping area in a local city (about 1 hour from Tokyo). This event was called "The 1st Strawberry Festival". It was a symbolic event of “Premium Friday”.

Enterprisers prepared 20 wagons of finite original menu foods. Popular musicians entrance on the stage that day.It was a blast. There person who would still work dispatched usual joined the event from 15:00 to 20:00. About 1000 people spread and enjoyed this event. It was a very significant day.
