Proteca is a suitcase brand launched in 2005 by ACE: The name represents the pursuit of Protect, Technology, and ACE. All hard-side suitcases under the Proteca brand are manufactured under the thoroughgoing quality control of our Akabira Factory in Hokkaido.

Proteca’s identity

Proteca’s creative director is Oki Sato, the head of the world-famous design office, nendo. Sophisticated design and a Japanese sensibility come together to produce a stylish yet highly convenient suitcase.

The security and reliability of MADE IN JAPAN

Ace, manufacturing suitcases for over half a century. Its manufacturing base is the Akabira Plant in Hokkaido, which each year produces approximately 210,000 suitcases, 100% made in Japan, a plant where the latest technology and Japanese craftsmanship come together.
