Henn na robot-staffed hotel opens

near Tokyo Disney Resort

hennahotel

Henn na Hotel opened its second property in the Tokyo Bay area near Tokyo Disney Resort in March, following its first hotel at Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki Prefecture, which has been recognized by Guinness World Records as “the first robot-staffed hotel” in the world. The lobby images the age of dinosaurs, and at the front desk, guests will be greeted by multilingual robots who will handle the check-in and check-out process. The hotel is not only unique because of the robot operation, but has been designed to be environmentally friendly, and offers a comfortable and restful stay with the latest mattresses models. One of the definitions of the Japanese word “henn” is “to change,” which represents the hotel’s commitment to evolution in striving for the extraordinary experiences and comfort that lie beyond the ordinary. The unique experiences it offers will take guests one step into the future.
