TOKYO

Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo

The popular Shangri-La Hotel is known for its sweeping views of Tokyo and luxurious interior that warmly welcomes guests as if they are family. This year the hotel is also offering a special menu at its restaurants to coincide with the annual sakura (cherry blossom) season. Available until the end of April, this special menu includes the “Sakura Kaiseki Dinner” course at the established Japanese restaurant Nadaman, renowned for the breathtaking aesthetics and artistic presentation of its dishes. The course features a champagne-base sakura cocktail, which sets the stage for a total of seven dishes that delight diners as each one weaves a tale of the sakura. The eminent Hong Kong designer André Fu adds elements of a Tokyo forest to restaurant’s interior, which harmonizes with the cuisine to pleasantly thrill the senses.
