Early summer tradition 〈Noren〉.

"Noren" has long been one of the most popular interior design items, not only for separating rooms and making them less visible from the outside, but also for allowing people to see and feel the breeze passing through the house and making rooms look more colorful.

"Manyosha" is a brand whose craftsmen continue to produce their products using a variety of techniques, including hand-painting, ombre-dyeing, and tie-dyeing. Designed to match the atmosphere of modern interiors as well as Japanese-style rooms with mainly Japanese furniture.

We would like to introduce you to some of our favorite "Noren" products for this early summer, handcrafted by artisans in Kyoto, an ancient capital rich in tradition.

Koinobori (carp streamers) are seasonal decorations that were created after the end of the Warring States Period and the beginning of the peaceful era, to notify the gods of the birth of a boy and to pray for his growth.
