This exhibition features the work of Katsuhiko Noyori, who mainly produces decorative metal fittings (metal ornaments) for Buddhist altars among "Owari Buddhist altar equipment" produced mainly in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. In addition to traditional metal ornaments, he has learned various techniques such as metal forging, cloisonne, carving, and inlaying, and he continue to energetically work on making a wide variety of advanced products by utilizing that technology in making metal fittings.

You can see a variety of delicate and detailed works such as pins and necktie pins with fish motifs, accessories that combine Tado-style techniques with Japanese designs, and copper interiors expressed with metal ornamental carving techniques.
