Kumano brushes from Hiroshima-prefecture have been attracting attention recently not only for calligraphy and Japanese painting but also for makeup brushes.
A large number of brushes will be exhibited for various purposes, such as first calligraphy of the year, New Year's greeting cards, and picture letter writing.
