Hi, I’m Masa!
I would like to tell you about Japanese interesting cultures and the honest opinions about it as Japanese.
Today’s topic is Japanese confectionery with Matcha, which means Japanese green tea!
Those are popular not only for Japanese but also many foreigners.
So, I am going to introduce about 3 Matcha-tasteing chocolates in the tons of confectioneries.
The first chocolate is Toppo tasting of Matcha produced by Lotte.
I thought I couldn’t tell the normal Toppo from the Matcha one, but Matcha cream was in Toppo neatly.
But it was a little bit disappointing that I couldn’t feel taste of Matcha from it very much.
The second chocolate is Alfort premium version with Uji-Matcha produced by Bourbon.
This series of products is reasonable, easy to buy and share it with our friends.
I like it!
It changes the normal milk chocolate into Matcha one and the normal biscuit into cocoa taste biscuit, and this Matcha-flavor chocolate matches this bitter-taste biscuit very much!
Owing to these changes, it looks richer than the normal one.
The last one is Matcha KitKat produced by Nestle.
This is very famous for both Japanese and some foreigners.
This chocolate tastes just right sweet. This is the chocolate for the adult.
It is easy to distribute these to your friends, coworker and so on, because a piece of KitKat is packaged with a small package one by one.
In fact, I have given Matcha Kitkat to foreigners as a little souvenir when I went abroad.
And I could please them by this great and reasonable souvenir.
If you have the opportunity to buy such as Matcha confectionery, please try it!!!
