There is nothing more appealing than the word “simply lose weight by dinking” in any country. Everyone wants to eat delicious food but is worried of belly fats. And working out does not last long either…. for those kind of people, diet drinks are like a savior.
If you go to a convenience store in Japan, you will find a lineup of food for specified health use” (TOKUHO) that is easy to incorporate into everyday life and beverages that are functional indication food.
Words such as “suppressing sugar and absorption of food” and “helping reduce body fats” are reassuring for those who care about their body shape. You find yourself wanting to try some but which one should you choose?
So, here are some of the drinks that Japanese people usually drink!!
What is “TOKUHO” to begin with?
“TOKUHO” is what you call “food for specified health use” and below are its two features.
◎It contains ingredients that affect the body’s physiology functions.
◎Specific health benefits has been scientifically proven.
The product has TOKUHO mark along with a “permission display contents” and “ingestion precautions” that specifically describe the health benefits you can obtain.
It says “reduces fat absorption and moderates blood neutral fat rise after meal” which is amazing because it’s a coke but it is health-conscious!
There are two big differences of TOKUHO coke and a regular coke.
１． Calorie 0
２．Reduce fat absorption
Many people think Coca-cola = makes you fat, bad for the body, right?
Maybe this is the result of wanting to change the image of coca-cola.
Now, how effective is it?
Tokucha (special tea) is more expensive than a regular tea. You can buy it in the convenience store for about 200.
Unlike other teas, Tokucha contains a component called quercetin glycoside. It is recognized by the country as a Tokuho drink because it breaks down fat.
The taste is perfect even for a jasmine lover like me. The scent of jasmine goes through your nose and leaves a refreshing taste in your mouth,,, delicious! Of course, the effect will not appear immediately, but the result can be expected after continued usage.
3.Healthya Sparkling ♡
The difference of healthya sparkling from healthya tea is it is refreshing delicious carbonated drink. It has a unique bitterness but has a sweetness as an aftertaste but just like regular carbonated drink (juice), it is very delicious if put in a refrigerator and cold.
Those are the TOKUHO beverages. Tokuho’s coke for me is the most delicious.
